Tag -> Earn

How royalties & rewards work

Rules & distribution

Tags accrue royalties. Communal tags become tag pots

1) Attention becomes tokens

  • C tokens (circulation): Flow instantly between users when you browse, save, react, tag, or share
    — like “likes,” but with value.

  • R tokens (reserve/utility): Accrue over time from behavior and platform loops. Use R to steward hashtags, boost posts, and participate in marketplace actions.

2) Royalty split at the moment of interaction

When C transfers, a programmed split routes a portion to tagged parties. This is how royalties are paid in real time:

  • Originals (referenced creators, remix sources) receive royalties

  • Featured users, venues, businesses, brands, and other contributors receive a share

One action → multiple beneficiaries (originals, promoters, stewards, and viewers)

3) Communal hashtags & stewardship

Some tags (e.g., #food, #pet, #datemyfriend) are communal: no single owner.

  • Top contributors share the tag’s royalties.

  • Qualified users can use R to earn a limited-term stewardship slot (one active tag per user).

  • Stewards help curate, moderate light rules, and keep the tag healthy.
The steward share (e.g., 10% of the tag pot) is defined in posted rules.

4) Theme Conquest — where communal tags compete

Each week, trending communal tags enter Theme Conquest — a public challenge to grow visibility and attract followers.

  • Additional rewards are added to the tag pot.

  • Top contributors can rally users to their tag.

  • Momentum boosts visibility across the ecosystem.

  • The most active tags “level up,” unlocking higher visibility and resale value.

→ Theme Conquest turns stewardship into a community game.

5) Marketplace — the next phase of ownership

As tags gain traction through Theme Conquest, they appear in the Marketplace, where users can:

  • Auction hashtags for stewardship or resale rights.

  • Trade in R tokens, closing the loop between creation, visibility, and value.

→ From attention to ownership — every loop feeds the next.

6) Token trails = transparent receipts

Every transfer writes a receipt (who paid, who earned, which tag, when).
Over time, your token trails show:

  • Early discovery (for steward candidacy and contributor status).

  • Attribution for royalties and promoter rewards.

  • Eligibility for airdrops and special programs like Theme Conquest.

7) Fair play & anti-gaming

  • No paywalls for attention — viewing earns, spam doesn’t.

  • Identity & rate limits prevent wash actions and fake loops.

  • Stewards must stay active; inactivity loses the slot.

  • Disputes are resolved with transparent receipts.

8) Tips for playing

  • Join weekly drops → reserve or steward a communal hashtag with R.

  • Boost posts → reach more viewers; part of the cost returns to the tag pot.

  • Tag originals → route royalties to rightful creators.

9) Theme evolution samples

  • Food → dessert (#dessert)

  • Pet / OMG → pet_omg (absurdly cute or shocking pet moments)

  • Travel / Food → travel_food (what you eat on the road)
